- BitBucket - Much like GitHub, but lets you host, manage, and share Git and Mercurial code with unlimited private repositories for free for up to 5 developers.
- CakePHP - CakePHP is an MVC-based rapid development framework for PHP that provides an extensible architecture for developing, maintaining, and deploying applications.
- Git - A free & open source, distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency.
- GitHub - A web-based hosting service for software development projects that use the aforementioned Git version control system.
- HTML5 Boilerplate - HTML5 Boilerplate is the professional badass’s base HTML/CSS/JS template for a fast, robust and future-proof site.

Web Comics
I currently subscribe to over 60 web comics via my RSS reader, here are some of my favourite ones.
- Extra Ordinary - A hand drawn comic series about Li, Jordan, and their cat Shoelace – it always brings a smile to my face.
- Optipess - A word you’d maybe end up with if you combined the two words “optimism” and “pessimism”.
- Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal - A geek comic at heart, but it nevertheless addresses a broad range of topics, such as love, relationships, economics, politics, religion, science, and philosophy.
- Sinfest - Tatsuya Ishida’s fantastic series on human nature, sexuality, gender roles, addiction and religion.
- VG Cats - Although not updated anywhere near as regularly as I would like, this is easily one of the best video game-based web comics in the Web.
- xkcd - Stick-figure strip featuring humour about technology, science, mathematics and relationships.
